What a Wild & Wise retreat is like
Immersive and unhurried. Away from the noise of everyday life, a small group comes together to rest, reconnect, and be gently guided inward. There is space to breathe, to feel, and to remember what matters, held by decades of Pam's presence and a deep trust in each person's own knowing.
Every retreat is a little different, shaped by the place and the people who gather. What stays the same is the intention. A safe, beautiful container where you can slow down and come home to yourself. Think tranquil accommodations, delicious, nourishing meals, epic company, and the guidance of a seasoned healer.
Who they are for
If you are craving space to step out of the rush, reconnect with yourself, and be held for a few days, a retreat may be exactly what you need. No particular experience is required, only a willingness to slow down and be present.
People come alone far more often than in pairs. If that is the thing making you hesitate, let it go.
What gets woven in
Whole-person practice
BodyTalk, quantum healing, and gentle bodywork, one to one and in the circle.
Slow movement
Restorative Yin yoga and breath, at a pace that asks nothing of you.
Ceremony
Shamanic practice rooted in the land you are actually standing on.
Real time outdoors
Long hours in the natural world, which does half the work by itself.
Rest
Unstructured, unapologetic, and built into the schedule on purpose.
Other people
A small circle, which by the end stops feeling like strangers.

Further afield
Pam brings in the wild side with her love of travel and sense of adventure. Madeira was the first retreat abroad, and it will not be the last. Join her and other like-minded people for a journey away from home and into your heart, with deep self-growth on one side and play and relaxation on the other. Destinations are announced to Pam's community first.
Closer to home
Not every gathering needs a passport. Kayanara is 220 acres of farm and forest at Eagle Creek in the South Cariboo, and it is the kind of country that does a lot of the work before anyone says a word. It is where the November retreat is held, and where Pam runs her private two-night intensives year round.
Smaller gatherings run through the year, if several days away is more than you can take right now.
