If plans change
Cancellations and refunds
Life happens. Here is what applies, so nobody has to guess in an awkward moment.
The principle
Pam holds time, and increasingly cabins, chefs, and other people's places, for you specifically. The further ahead you tell her, the easier everything is. The closer to the day, the more has already been spent.
None of what follows is meant to be applied coldly. If something serious happens, email hello@pamdhillon.com and talk to her.
One to one sessions
Booked through Jane, which handles reminders and rescheduling.
- With more than 24 hours notice, you can reschedule or cancel with a full refund.
- With less than 24 hours notice, the session is charged, because the time cannot be filled.
- A missed session with no notice is charged in full.
- The first time it happens, Pam will usually move it once as a goodwill gesture. Once.
If Pam has to cancel, you get a full refund or a new time, whichever you prefer.
Gatherings
- With more than 48 hours notice, you receive a full refund.
- With less than 48 hours notice, your place transfers to a future gathering rather than being refunded.
- If Pam cancels, you receive a full refund, or you can carry it forward if you prefer.
Containers
A container reserves a block of Pam's weekly time and her attention between sessions.
- Cancel before the first session and you receive a full refund.
- Once a container has started it is non-refundable, and any payment plan continues. Sessions can be rescheduled within the container.
- If life makes it impossible, talk to her. Pausing is usually possible.
Intensives at Kayanara
These commit a cabin, catering, and two full days of Pam's time.
- A 50% deposit books your intensive. The balance is due 14 days before you arrive.
- Cancel more than 30 days before and everything except the deposit is refunded.
- Within 30 days, payments are non-refundable but transferable once to another date within twelve months, subject to availability.
- If Pam cancels, you receive a full refund including the deposit, or a new date.
Retreats
Places are limited and held for you, and costs are committed well in advance.
- A 50% deposit secures your place. The remaining 50% is due two weeks before arrival.
- Cancel more than 60 days before and everything paid except the deposit is refunded.
- Within 60 days, the deposit is non-refundable. If someone else takes your place, the balance is refunded.
- If Pam cancels, you receive a full refund including the deposit.
Travel to and from a retreat is yours to arrange. Travel insurance is strongly recommended, and it is what covers you if you cannot travel.
If you leave partway through
Leaving an intensive, retreat, or gathering early, for any reason, is always your right. Unused time is not refunded, because it has already been held and staffed.
Returns
Wild & Wise does not currently sell physical products, so there is nothing to return. If that changes, this page will change with it.
Recorded sessions and other digital items are personal to you and are non-refundable once sent.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back the way you paid, usually within ten business days. Any transaction fee charged by a payment provider is not something Pam can recover or refund.
