An invitation to be renewed
This was the first retreat I held close to home. A farmhouse at Fresh Valley Farms in Armstrong, a small circle, and one idea at the centre of the weekend: create space for the new by embracing the power of release.
No matter where you are on your path, there are always new gates to walk through. Letting go can feel daunting. Even impossible. So we did not rush it. We wove quiet time and deep rest to settle the nervous system, and between those pauses we did the work that wakes something up.
When was the last time you gave yourself a whole weekend?
What we did together
Quantum healing sessions, working in the field to release what was stuck and come back into alignment with your own essence. Systemic constellations, which bring hidden family and collective patterns into the light where they can be seen and understood. Deep connection exercises, the kind of honest group work that builds trust and turns a room of strangers into a circle.
We moved with intention in gentle yoga, to bring what shifted down into the body. We breathed with purpose in pranayama, to energize and clear. And we sank into guided and silent meditations, to open the mind and rest in a wider awareness.
Between all of that: stillness. Time to journal, to integrate, to soak in the hot tub under a February sky, or to do nothing at all. That part was on purpose.
What was included
Every meal, cooked by Heidi. Vibrant, wholesome food made with love, which is its own kind of medicine. A beautiful house with room to gather and room to disappear, and a hot tub under the stars for the end of each day.
The rates above covered the whole weekend. Nothing was added on.
Heidi
I did not hold this one alone. Heidi Jordan of Heidi Noel Conscious Coordinating co-hosted and cooked. If you know the Wild Oak Cafe and Community Market, you know Heidi. She founded it, and she has coordinated events across the Okanagan for years. She creates spaces that invite you to slow down, connect and be nourished, and her presence grounded the whole weekend.
Heidi and I have co-created Wild & Wise Gatherings for years. Friends call us “Ham.” We have also co-coordinated The New Human events: Regeneration, Interstellar, and Re-Union. Regeneration alone gathered 500 people for a collective journey of awakening. I bring the yang. Heidi brings the yin. Together it feels whole.
What it was
Three days. Two nights. A sacred pause, and a circle of people who each walked through a gate of their own. Every place was taken.
If you were there, thank you. You know what that weekend held.
If you were not, the next retreat is below. Dates go to my community first, and I would love to have you join us.
