On the land
Some things only happen on the land
Hands-on work, ceremony, horses, forest, fire. None of it fits into an hour, so it does not happen in an hour.
Where in person happens
At Kayanara, a 220-acre guest ranch at Eagle Creek in the South Cariboo. Farm, forest, creek, trails, cabins, and quiet, far from the noise of everyday life.
That is the whole of it. Pam’s hands-on work, her ceremony, and her retreats all happen there.
Once in a while she travels. An international retreat, or a pop-up gathering or one-to-one day in another town such as Vernon. Those are rare, and they go out to her newsletter first. Kayanara is the constant.
Why it is set up this way
An hour on a table is a good hour. But the drive over, the settling in, the bracing, and the getting back to your day all eat into it, and the work stops roughly when the hour does.
Two nights is different. Your nervous system stops scanning somewhere around the second evening, and that is when the deeper work can begin. The gaps between sessions do as much as the sessions.
So rather than shrinking that into appointments, Pam built the in-person work around the length it actually wants to be.
Two ways to be there
A Wild & Wise Intensive is two nights, private or with a few people you choose. A cabin, meals cooked by a chef, and the work woven right through your stay. Come alone, or bring a partner, a friend, or family.
A retreat is a small circle of people, several days, and a guided arc from open to close. The next one is Wild Remembering in November.
What you can expect to work with
The hands-on modalities happen on the land. They are somatic bodywork, craniosacral, visceral, wellness, and intuitive bodywork.
Alongside them, whatever your system is asking for on the day. That can mean quantum healing, BodyTalk, ceremony, Yin yoga, rest, and long hours outside.
If you cannot get there yet
Most of Pam’s work runs online, by phone, or recorded, and it is not a lesser version. Start there, and come to the land when the timing is right.

Come to the land
Two nights, a cabin, meals cooked for you, and the work running through all of it rather than squeezed into a slot.
